Over the weekend, we spent a couple of hour storyboarding round my house, rounding out the final draft. to do this we had to listen to our song of choice and note down the time codes for all of the verses, chorus' and instrumentals. This helps with the pacing and shot times and gives you a more general idea of where each shot is going to be, we then dissected each verse to set times and how many shots we wanted, how many there were going to be and where they were going to fit into sequence within the video. so there is a lot to consider.
Being that my partner and I arent very good at drawing, anything, we had to show eachother our progress, as we were creating the storyboard, what each part is and means, this became quite arduous, nonetheless useful as sometimes we would have to either draw it out again or try to understand the point which is coming across. Within the overall storyboard, to save time we each allocated ourselves a section of the song; for instance, Nick would storyboard the chorus and I would be storyboarding the verse, this saved so much time that would have been spent on one take and allowed us to consistently work throughout the few hours we had.
