The following is the digipak for Kanye West's 2013 album Yeezus.

As with all Digipaks, there must be a front cover, back cover and a spine, which all detail the Album itself. The front cover should have the Name of the album, possibly artist or band. the back cover usually has song lists however in this one, Kanye, or rather his marketing team decided to break that convention as in this case, the artist is more important.

On the front cover there is a statue of Jesus with tape over his eyes suggests that Kanye is more important than Jesus, complementing Kanye's ego.

Immediately you notice the contrasting colour palette of black and red, and the religious imagery. This show that colours such as red are showing his passion for music and what this album will be about however this contrasts the Back cover of the Digipak.

The black and red of everything makes it seem quite sinister, and mysterious, which I believe is Kanye's attempt of feeding the 'Illuminati' conspirators in his fanbase, and the only image of himself is cast in heavy red lighting, a close up of his face filling the frame, showing that he is the most important person to do with the album. Also, notice the lack of a track listing, instead replaced by a photo of himself, possibly suggesting that the album is more about his image than his music.

This Digipak is for the Random Access Memories Album for the 2014 Daft Punk release.

This Digipak is made for the Vinyl as well as the CD and Digital copy of the Album. the initial Digipak is a box, which inside contains the sleeve which holds the Vinyl and CDs

The Black and gold colouring suggests that this Digipak is expensive, as the gold has a shimmer, it wants the buyer to know it is a premium media product. there are images litered around the digipak, notably the anatomy of the Artists themselves.

They want you to focus on the artist rather that the music, but when it comes to the sleeve, there is only one picture and the song list which means they want you to have a pure listening experience.
